Boat Trader Launches the #IHeartBoating Instagram Challenge

Share your boating pictures to help raise money for the American Heart Association

Norfolk, VA (February 16, 2015) — Boat Trader, a division of Boats Group (Boats Group) which also operates YachtWorld, boats.com and Cosas de Barcos, launched its Valentine’s Day-inspired Instagram challenge to benefit the American Heart Association (AHA) at the beginning of February.

The challenge, #IHeartBoating, encourages everyone to follow Boat Trader on Instagram in February and share pictures of friends and family with whom they enjoy boating. The challenge will run throughout February, which is American Heart Month, and Boat Trader has pledged to “share the love” by donating $1 to the AHA in return for every photo submitted on Instagram with the hashtag #IHeartBoating.

“Since most Boat Trader fans can’t do much boating during the month of February, we came up with the #IHeartBoating challenge to get people excited about the upcoming boating season and to celebrate our mutual love for the water,” said Katy Judge, Boat Trader brand manager. “Since Valentine’s Day is all about sharing the love, we wanted to support a cause that is important to many American boaters. With their help, we look forward to raising as much money as we can to support the AHA.”
