Founded in 1991, Fox’s Yachts Sales brokerage based in Ipswich, Suffolk realized the potential of the internet and developed their first website in 2003. As online technology has progressed, Fox’s Yachts have consistently maintained and updated their web presence.
Released in the of summer 2014, Fox’s new website was designed to resolve various requirements. Optimizing the brand was an important element, so a new logo mark was developed and the sophisticated and modern design framework produced. The priority of information was also restructured to focus on Fox’s key business objectives – new boat sales, used boat brokerage sales and the events and after sales services which they offer. These priorities were vital to the design of the user interface and led to the final solution now live.
Founded in early 1970’s, Williams & Smithells has strongly embraced digital marketing technology with their first website live in 2000, consistently and regularly enhancing both its design and function to keep ahead in the competitive marine brokerage market.
With a significant percentage of their audience using mobile devices, Williams & Smithells (W&S) decided it was time to redevelop their website with specific attention to providing an enhanced mobile user-experience.
The solution now live presents both personal computer users and mobile users with dedicated designed interfaces for those displays. This enables W&S to use large bold images on their website while maintaining an engaging and positive user experience on mobile devices, as well as desktop.
The website needed to showcase all of W&S’s inventory, which includes new Allures sailing yachts, new Garcia power boats and used brokerage boats, so it was essential to target the most relevant inventory to each visitor. This was achieved with a rotating spotlight banner which links through to the associated content pages, and three primary navigation points, which on selection expand and present the user with links to all the related information of the particular boat type.

The simple and elegant design presents the inspiring images of the motor yachts in a evocative manner, while the contemporary graphic treatment over laid in white and red represents the elegance and adventure offered by these yachts.
The website mixes the refined design with functionality with a user-friendly brokerage listing and boat details, new boat details, news listings, testimonials from happy customers and contact functionality, enabling prospective buyers to easily contact Martin Payne Marine.

When the Galati family approached us with a desire to promote their rich history and the many services they offer as a company, it was our job to help them realize their goals by integrating our technology with their ambitions.
Along with designing the look of their website to visually match their brand, much thought was given to how to create the best user experience possible. The use of the YachtWorld database of boats was a key factor in guiding potential customers through the buying process. The ability for a user to browse boats and receive updates on availability is a major contributor in lead generation for the many individual brokers of Galati Yacht Sales.
