Vice President of Sales
As Boats Group’s “Rainmaker,” John oversees the company’s North American sales team, which includes managing strategic relationships with more than 3,000 boat dealers and yacht brokers, as well as partnerships with OEMs and large dealer groups. John sets the sales and customer acquisition strategy, ensuring the company meets aggressive revenue goals. Enabling his team to succeed through consultative sales, John is an expert in developing go-to-market strategies that reinforce the undisputed value that our brands deliver to industry partners.
John is a well-respected leader in the recreational marine industry with nearly 15 years of experience in business development and sales management. Since joining Boats Group in 2007, John has led regional sales teams in the northeast and in Florida, as well as the closure of Boat Trader magazines, successfully shifting millions in revenue from print to digital media in 2008. Prior to joining Boats Group, John led the northeast territory sales team for PepsiCo where he successfully grew revenue and customer penetration.
John is an avid alumnus of Notre Dame University, where he graduated with a degree in Business.
