Boat Trader Update: August 2024

We’ve refined the Boat Details Page view to make the content sleeker. Now, the description section opens by default, showing buyers important specifications about your boats at first glance. We’ve also improved the user experience by speeding up click response times and removing drop-down icons, making it easier for them to find information and make purchase decisions quicker.

These redesigns and improvements have led to a 6% increase in email leads!

To enhance the relevance of the first listings appearing on the Search Results page, we’ve updated what was previously known as “Sponsored” listings. Now called “Featured” listings, these updates mean that location isn’t the only factor in which they appear. If a user hasn’t specified a location in their search, we’ll automatically use their current location for a more personalized experience.

We’ve also improved how our system matches listings to shoppers’ search criteria, giving them even more accurate results and placing your boats in front of shoppers nearest them!

These improvements provide our shoppers with a more relevant and engaging experience, resulting in a 38% increase in click-through rate!

As we focus on enhancing the search experience and simplifying the process of finding boats of interest in the Boat Trader app, we’ve introduced a new feature that displays active filters directly on the Search Results Page.

Shoppers can now easily refine their search and view your boats relevant to their search, faster.
